I am new to this site. Supprised to see a wood page.  This is a cigar humidore I turned for my old boss. He builds yachts in Florida. Well he is building a 85' yacht for Juan Bacardi and asked me to make this for him.  It is curley sycamore with spanish cedar inside. The handle is Ebony. A recess is in the handle for a brass copy of Bacardi Rum Logo to be put in at plant. The humidore is made from wood used in interior furniture. Finish to be applied in Florida so to match yacht.  Ruger204

Nice work Ruger.  It makes me want to chew on a Swisher Sweet like I did 20 years ago.  If you run across some reasonable priced walnut suitable for rifle stocks drop me a pm.   I'll buy it or I have some 20 year old cherry that I'll trade.

how thick do you need. I have about a half a pick-up load. I know I have some 8 quarter x 10". And several trees on my property. One tree has at least 10 burels on trunk. I have 150 acres in Arkansas over half is woodland.
