Russian Made NEF'S?

Now that the company that  has purchased NEF also owns Remington and they are bringing in the Russian single shots.  Do any of you see the American made handi rifles being replaced by rifles made on previously commie machinery?  Or do you see the Handi rifle replacing the Russian guns in the remington catalog?
Personally I would love to see a hidden hammer self cocking Handi rifle that was made in the USA and can still use the current Handi barrels even if it carries the Remington name.  And I gues the Remington price tag as well.
Any thoughts?

I don't know & no one on this forum does either. So should we start biting our nails & toss & turn in bed all night over the possibilities. Nay, not me.  What, Rem. can only market one brand of single shot now, who made that rule? I have never seen so many "what ifs" in my life, are they going to China, to H@## with Rem, we hate Marlin, nana nana doggie poop. They moved from one Liberal NE small town to a place in NY (1 USA city to another, at least USA to some). And consolidating & poss. using more modern machinery would be so evil.  And it would be rally bad if the barrels could be interchanged on future models without fitting, we can't have that!! 
Why can't we see what shakes & then look at the price & quality. And if they move to the Congo after that, then I will gripe with the best of them. Until then I see no logic in fretting over mere "what ifs".

No I'm wondering if I should use my Bonus in Aug to buy any and all NEF's that I may want if they are going to be made by pinko commie bed wetters.  And No Remington does not only have to market one type of single shot but it would be strange to own a company and not sell their product.
Wall Mart closed a sweater factory in NC in the 80's because they could buy the same sweater from a Chineese factory for 1/3 of a cent cheaper.  I wonder if the new NEF owners are going to be that tight with the cash.

Yes you should buy all and any you want right now maybe even before they move to NY you never know what might happen on the truck ride to NY. Or maybe research all the commie changes they may have done with the other 3 or 4 gun companies they bought before they bought Remmington. Kurt

I don't see it happening. The Spartan and the Handi/ Pardner are catering to different audiances. If Rem just wanted to get rid of their competition they could have swamped the market with undervalued IZH 18 rifles and drove H&R out of buisness. Rem. has a diverse product line and could afford to loose some money in the short term in order to destroy a compeditor.  H&R has a very narrow product line;  single shot rifles and shotguns with a smattering of imported pump and auto shotguns. I do not believe they could engage Rem in  price war and win. Since Remington chose to purchase H&R rather than destroy them I believe they intend to continue the line.
Then again, my wife claiims I don't know my butt from a hole in the ground.
