some bait before cutting
« on: July 25, 2003, 06:53:23 AM »
I took some pictures this past spring, so folks could see what we use for bait when we come home with all these wild tails of big cats, and good times.   Below is one from the sucker/carp family, and a gizzard shad just captured from the bait tank. The bottom photo is how we keep them fresh and alive until we get ready to slice em up, and offer them to the el gato grande's

I can take a lot better photos, and I will try to next time I get to escape and go fishing.

I might be going tonight. I still haven't made my mind up.  My bro said he is definatly not going to miss a night of fishing since he took off of work.
But the problem is, i have to wake up for work the next morning.  We usually stay out until around 2 or 3 AM.
And since i was already late once last month for the same reason.....i'm still undecided.   But hey, missing 2 hours of work for an uneventful fishing night was still ok in my book

Thats why god made good strong black coffee.  Just double the amount  you put in the filter before you brew it. I know you'll still be tired, but at least now you will be all jittrery and tired. Hah!
