Stock choices help!

I am wanting to pick up a stock for my G2.  I plan to use it for hunting.  I am looking at gunstocks incs  products.  I am really like the looks of the thumbhole stock would this be ok for hunting?  Any in-site would be appreciated.

I found that on my Encore, the thumb hole stock seems to handle recoil better for me. But don't use one with iron sights because of the high comb.

And yes I hunt with my Encores.
