Haven't in a while, pretty addictive tho. Had best results  with Bowers' Rest system. I think there are lots of guys here that were doing it while most shooters couldn't/wouldn't believe it. You should get lots of responses.

If I can include Contender pistols and carbines, have done so for decades.    Mostly for varmint and predator hunting, but also for the varmint fun matches shot at 500 yards at my gun club (2X4X6 blocks).   Set it up for and started using one Contender pistol in the 1000 yard target fun matches about 10 years ago.
Evolution at work. Over two million years ago the genus Homo had small cranial capacity and thick skin to protect them from their environment. One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

Contender to 500 yds. In fact prairie dogs at 400 plus pretty much most of last weekend. I believe a properly setup BA gun can be very accurate if used within its limitations.

Never shot mine at 500, but I used to shoot it quite often on our 300 yard range when I lived in MT. The longest range I have shot on in AR is only 200.

The longest I've shot was 418 yds taking a coyote with one shot.
