You were kind enough to provide information with regard to my topic of June 12.  In one of your posts you mentioned that you have a pair of 6.5-20 Nikons.  I see one of these scopes has come up for sale on Ebay with a starting price of $299.  The scope is supposedly in very good condition.

I will be shooting between 200-400 yards on paper.  Critter shooting could be a possibility down the road.

My question is, would you entertain spending $299-$350 on this used scope vs. spending more for a new scope of like power and glass?  I'm sure you have confidence in these scopes in so far as you purchased two of them and they fall in between the 16-24 power recommendation for my above use.

TIA, for any and all advice.

Yes I would consider spending that on it if it is in very good condition, as in like brand new and complete with all original accessories.  I spent that on mine but they were both NIB.
