Hog hunt
« on: June 16, 2008, 11:51:08 PM »
I have got the itch to go hog hunting.  The area I hunt has some turn up here and there but the local farmer take them out pretty fast (all are domestics that people have turn out).  Does any one know of a good area to go in Oklahoma?

There are a lot of hog's in western Okla Beckham and Roger Mills county has quite a few, The southern counties north of the Texas border seems to have the most. I own property in McIntosh and we have a few when its wet they move to bottoms when it gets dry. I checked a food plot last weekend and hog had been in it when it was muddy.

A couple of years ago we went down and shot some small hogs in Atoka. We shot two pigs under a 100#s and it cost us $100.00 if anyone wants the info PM me and I will send you his number.
