Someone just gave me 350 of their 225 GR 45 cast bullets. They are .454 diam. hard cast from wheel weights. Have them all lubed. Are they safe to shoot throught a ruger blackhawk. I want to load them about 1000 to 1100 FPS. Is it safe in my ruger. The bore is .452 dia. so are the cylinder throats.

They will be fine , most guns shoot best with the cast bullets sized .002 to .003 over , they get a better grip on the rifling .
All I shoot in my 45 colts are .454 dia cast .
