Texas-politically correct ???
« on: July 11, 2008, 02:35:41 AM »
Just read a news article, where in Dallas County,TX, a ''discussion'', at a meeting of county commissioners got a little heated. Seems a ''white'' commissioner made the comment, that some money being collected, and used was like ''throwing money down a black hole''. And a ''black'' commissioner, said that he didn't like that term, as it was raciest. Not sure how to look at this one. Is the black commissioner being to sensitive to the term, or to stupid to know what a black hole is.   gypsyman

I believe that you are actually talking about the "City" Commissioner's in Dallas. The particular black commissioner you are talking about is a racist (can't recall his name off hand) and is ALWAYS making stupid remarks concerning white racism both in the City of Dallas, and the country.
Possibly in this same meeting you bring up, I am not sure, he also made the statement that white folks call white cake "angel food cake" and chocolate cake "devil's food cake". Does that tell you anything about this moron?
There is much ATTITUDE in his voting precinct, and he REFLECTS it.

A black hole is an astronomical body caused by a collapsed star where gravity is so strong light can't escape.  It's an endless pit for whatever comes near it.  It has nothing to do with race, but rather physics.  The councilman probably doesn't know what it means.

Similar flap some years back in our Nation's Capital --"'cept for the killings, it ain't no bad town"-- where a white city worker said words to the effect of "they are pretty niggardly with their funds" and was fired by a black elected coucilman who was so STUPID he thought the word was racist.  But then, what do you expect from a city that elected a convicted druggy mayor TWICE,  ???

I think the individual you are speaking of is John Wiley Price the exalted grand puba of political
stupidity in Dallas, TX. this guy has attacked people (broke one mans arm, broke the windshield
wipers of a woman's car. just an all around ###, and probably doesn't have a clue what a black hole is.
Most all people in this area agree that if he was white he would be in jail.
May not be him, but sure sounds like him.

Maybe he thought the other guy said, "Black Ho," instead of black hole? ;D

Imus is back on the air and making millions.  There are people in the world to feel sorry for... he's not one of them.

Now in Dallas they have a black JP. demanding an apology from the white commissioner
that brought up the black hole.
The "black ho" has been around for ever, just like the "white whore"
all in the pronunciation. ::)

John Wiley Price was blocking traffic daily in front of a hospital in Dallas a few years ago. He and his people were blocking a cross walk by SLOWLY walking across the street a couple at a time. The police would do nothing. I got tired of being held up each day after work. I went to my friendly neighborhood gun shop and bought a little brown bottle of skunk scent. The next day as I drove by the protesters I dumped the scent out the window onto the crosswalk. For some strange reason the protest broke up and they all went away. The best $5.99 I ever spent!
