What a beauty! I had an opportunity to fire a Sig 1911 Elite today, I was very impressed to say the least. The gun is very much like the Colt 1911, and I think some parts may exchange. One of the major differences is the external exjector. In finish and quallity I think it will match or exceed the finest Kimber and Colts. At $1,000. It is priced, perhaps, a few dollars less than the Kimber, and a good deal less than the Colt. The gun handled well and is fairly accurate even iin my hands, with my old eyes I could keep all the shots in the 9-10 ring at twenty-five yards . I sure would like to add one to my collection buit since I just bought three Ar-15s it will have to wait a while...................anybody want to but an AR?
