I will be reloading a  Speer 235 grn semi spitzer.  Thanks for your help

Thanks buddy, I appreciate it!!  I looked at a book at the local Sportsmans Warehouse and that is what it said.  I will give it a go tomorrow.

Don't expect much if any expansion out of the 235 Speer in this cartridge.  At least I never confirmed that it expanded in the few deer I shot with it.  It was designed for velocities that are 900 fps faster than what the .375 WCF produces....

Thanks Lone Star.  I got the opportunity to shoot it the other day.  I think I may have a good combination of bullet and powder, at least for accuracy.  What would be your suggestion for a hunting load, I was told by the person that I got it from that it shot the lighter bullets better so that is where I started.  Thanks

The Hornady 220FN and the Sierra 200 FN were both designed for the .375WCF, they were the jacketed bullets I used the most and they expand well on deer.  The 235 Speer is a .375 H&H Magnum bullet.  For maximum velocity use AA1680, it is at least 100 fps ahead of any other pressure-tested powder.
