What's the water temp in you area?

Around here, the water is still in the low 60's.  Cumberland was at 63 yesterday.  I love the fall time of year for bassin'.  The cooler temps, no ski boats, and basses moving up to feed for winter.

Around here the temperatures are running in the low 70's(average) in the main lakes.  In the ponds I'm fishing the water is still in the high 60's but will be dropping fast with all these cold fronts moving thru.  Lawdog

the good thing-down here-is the gulf stays pretty warm most all year. the bays are shallow and even after a real cold spell--for down here boys, our winters doan compare nuthin to tha ones ya'll have up there close to santy claus--the bottom warms and tha fish come on up to sun and feed. i wade in jan, feb,and march without much discomfort at all. tha water temp is warmer tha tha air temp- and after ya wade a minute or two yor ol body warms frum tha wadin an tossin and sun. gets to be pretty plesant an there not a lotta folks roun ta bother ya.

Kentucky's generally not too bad.  Late spring can be rough because you never know what the temp will be with the fronts come through, but for the most part its not too bad.  I was hoping for a cold winter to work on the pine beetles some.
