Now have 2 P95DC Ruger 9mm's...
« on: July 25, 2008, 02:09:18 PM »

The bottom one I've had for 10+ yrs...bought new...never a ftf or a fte...countless rds through it (likes WOLF)

Bought the 2nd newer style on a whim today...newer has "stippled" grip...flatter decocker (actually prefer the raised decocker on the old one)...and has the accessory rail for laser/light unlike the old style one.

Newer style also has a more rounded trigger guard than the old one.

Be damned if I know what happened...was looking at a '38 Tula 91/30 and wound up coming home with the new style P95.

Newer style is used but not abused...$285 out the door.
Been wanting one of the newer style ones since they came out...:D

I just bought a new P95PR today. It looks just like your newer one. I haven't shot it yet but hope to soon.

Alot of people don't like the P series due to their thickness but I do....I like a fistful of pistol!

Heard a bunch got shipped to Iraq for our boys over there...built like a tank and always go BANG!  8)

If you like the looks and feel of the "P" series pistols, you can't go wrong with the P-95. Bought a KP95-DC when they first came out because my wife liked it. Paid $260 out the door at "Sports Unlimited". She changed her mind about the gun and I used it for years as an IDPA loaner. Never missed a beat. I gave it to my son, who quickly put several thousand rounds thru the gun. Still no malfunctions to my knowledge. Even tho I couldn't bring myself to like it, it's a heck of a deal for the price!
