Forester trimmer and 45/70 brass ?????
« on: August 03, 2008, 09:15:40 AM »
I have a original forester trimmer, (I believe that's what its called). I have the pilot for the 45/70 BUT one thing I didn't think of was would the rim fit the (chuck) is what I'm going to call it. and guess what? no cigar.

Now the question is? I see that grafs offers an collet but I didn't know if this is for the application to make the rim fit.
Does anyone know or have any of you been through a similar situation?

Thanks for all replies in advance!

You can also order just the #4 collet housing and #4 collet to fit your trimmer .

http://www.forsterproducts.com/Pages/componentprices.html#Anchor-32842

The housing is $8 and the collet is around the same , Their web site is not too user friendly but once you figger it out you can find things .  ;)
