DW Grips

Does anyone know where i can get a grip for my gun?.its a 357 and my wife shoots it with full power loads,it a little much for her.She likes the full stock grips on it now but it would be nice to get a rubber one with the same feel.Thanks,any and all suggestions are welcome.She likes the full power loads,she just wants to find a more comfortable grip.pan.

Mine came with a rubber Hogue monogrip, but it is more comfotable to shoot with 158-180 grain loads with the factory wood target grip.  MY first DW had Pachmayr "presentation" grips, which are similar in profile to the factory wood, but are soft rubber.  Very nice, and may suit your needs.  Try Midwayusa.com or one of the other online shooting supply shops, should be able to find them.

I second the presentation grip; it's about the same size as the factory, but a lot easier on the hand.  I use it on my Max and it's a lot easier than the factory wood with heavy loads.  They're usually plenty available on the auction sites; even Ebay still carrys them. If you go with Hogues; have her try them in a gunshop, as they tend to run larger for similiar styles.

I got her a Glock 22,and a lone Wolfe barrel [extended].She Fell in love with it,loll.Now she loves the DW loll.Being together so many years,35+,i guess we both love the same weapons. I knew she was a keeper when she fired my 44 BH,and said WOW!,what a rush!!

If I'm not mistaken the Pachmayr Presentation grips have been discontinued.  These come up for sale on eBay pretty often though.  I personally like the Hogue grips myself, actually have a nice set of Hogue exotic wood finger grips on the way now.

Grips are still available from DW, but they are Houge as the Pachmayr Presentation were dropped before production stopped. Now Pachmayr no longer makes the grip and they are getting harder to find. Wood grips are still available from factory.

I have a "pork chop" shroud as a spare (original to my gun) spare barrel nut, a SS 22 caliber barrel for if I ever get lucky and find a DW 22, and a set of Houge grips just in case I need them or some one here needs them worse then I do. The grips are available to anyone who needs them as I do not like the grips.

I got lucky and found my 722, and have a set of Houge Grips to get rid of now. Anyone here need a set? I be looking for some wood or a Pachmayr Presentation grips. I have ordered a new 6" shroud and barrel wrench for the gun. I did the strip it down thing and took out trigger, hammer and cleaned it proper. I also had to spend about 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour getting trigger stop screw out after some idiot used red loctight and had it in backwards with the hex inside the gun of all things.

The DA trigger pull is to die for, but the SA has a slight snag at the start on the transfer bar safety. I will take the gun apart next week and see about ending that little problem. I have removed the mounts and rings and will most likely be selling those. I also may sell the 8" barrel and shroud later if I don't like the weight, feel or the looks don't grow on me. In other words I will most likely sell the 8" B&S next month.
