1895G Survival parts kit
«

I just picked up an 1895GS and am in love. I think this is going to be my go to rifle for big game. I like to have spare parts for all my guns. Can anybody recommend a "survival list" of parts that are likey to break to keep on hand.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

I would have spares of the following parts:
lever axis screw, extractor, ejector, and firing pin.
The Marlin lever actions are excellent, reliable designs. The parts are listed in order of potential loss, breakage, or wear.

Thanks Mr. Traveler. I figured the extactor that seems to be the weak link in a lot of designs. I will have to assemble these parts and put them in my hunt box. Would these be available from brownells etc or are they marlin only?
