Ever see a pair like these?

Burris Super Low Z rings number 420091.  Next to a medium Z ring.  For those of you Handi owners who have a straight stock and need to get the scope as low as you can, these may be the trick.  I think they may work with a fixed power scope with a straight tube, no eye bell, I think they may be the lowest mount built for Weaver rails.  They are no longer in production, but you may find a few around in the older shops, I don't think they got a lot of sales from them.  I don't see how a weaver type ring could be made lower than these.  Or go witih the low rise hammer and a small eye bell scope.  Larry

Just having a little fun with you guys, but I have used a pair of these on the scout mount I have with a forward mounted pistol scope on a 22 Mag I have.  I wish they had not stopped making them, I think the design is about as low as it can get with a weaver rail.  If you use them you need to know you need to tighten the scope in them before you clamp them firmly to the rail because when you clamp them to the rail it distorts the bottom of the ring so the scope will not fit down properly.  Larry
