Heavy bullet .32 H&R mag?
« on: August 06, 2008, 10:51:46 AM »
I have a single six .32 h&r mag,  I cast 30-30 bullets from a lee 113g fngc (soup can mold) I size to .310 for the 30-30, but these bullets happen to drop the perfect size .313 from  my mold for the single six. with the bullet gas checked and lubed they weigh 125g, I would like to use these in my single six but can not find any data for this heavy of bullet I have w296 and trail boss powders. If someone could help me out I would not have to by another mold and this would simplify things greatly for me. trailboss would probably only get me about 6-7 hundred fps and I want to get close to 1000 fps so I think w296 would work, but due to all the warnings about w296 it kinda scares me to experiment
