So the plate that holds the hammer spring and rod up has always slipped on my M444 ultralite, I just haven't gotten around to making a good solution. Not that it makes the gun not function, just slips up so the rod is rubbing on the side of the hole it sits in, making a gritty trigger pull. So I took to the filing, and made a nice little place to seat it, instead of the cup taurus had it in, which allowed it to move. Now I could see their point in doing so, which is to let it move on different parts of the springs movement, and to not rub... but it also allowed it to slip under heavy recoil. Filed, and 30 rounds of 320 grainers over 22grains of H110. We can call that one fixed.
And the next problem. Due to the heavy recoil(AKA, me beating the living *(&$ out of it) the pin for the back cylinder lock would get kicked all the way back out of the hole, and hang up on the back side, making so you couldn't push it forward to open the cylinder. So I gave the hold a little chamfer, same with the pin, now no problems.
