Where to find Bullseye Spring kit for Dan Wesson 357
«

I just picked up a Dan Wesson 357 revolver manufactured in Monson. From my searching on here, I am thinking that I have a model 14 because it does not have the adjustable sight. I have also read on here that the Bullseye spring kit really seems to help the sometimes rough trigger pull on these guns. Does anyone have any good or bad opinions about these kits and also does anyone know where to find one? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Brad

Model 14 didn't have adjustable sights, so your probably right there. As far as a spring kit, I believe that Wolf springs make a sring for the DW's, and you can order it thru Brownells out of Iowa. gypsyman

Spring kits come up on the auction sites from time to time also. Be aware that some kits specify (Target) and have a very light single action pull; practically dangerous and all the spring kits lighten the strike force to some extent, resulting in nonfires with some primers. I had a problem with CCI primers and switched to Winchester without a problem. If you don't reload; you'll have to try different brands of ammo to get consistent firing.

I ordered a Wolf Sring kit for my model 15 and had a very light primmer hit and would always have one or two per cylinder that would not fire. Also the trigger return spring would fail to return about 2/3 of the time. All the springs in the Wolff set were reduced power by 1/2 pound to a pound. So both my DW's are now back to stock.
