Ironglow - Buddy, they want total change.  That's why the colors are upside down.  They want to 'redistribute' the wealth in this country.  They don't give a damn about who earned it, they want it and they want to distribute it to those who would vote for them, which is of course those who they consider to be 'disenfranchised', meaning the poor and underserved.  That is why the colors are upside down, because they would turn this nation upside down - put the wealth on the bottom where they feel it belongs and bury your first and second amendment rights to disagree in the process.  If that ain't communism, nothing is.....

There is no difference between the demicraps and barak obama want and nelson mandelas reversal of apartheid - it will not matter who worked to earn what, it will all be taken by the state and redistributed to the poor.  That makes the demicraps communists and if there is no other reason for keeping them out of the white house but for that then we had best assure ourselves they do not get elected.

Another example is Kenya - eliminate white landowner status and return everything to the people who never had it in the first place - and what you get for it is uncontrolled tribal violence and tribal warfare and the same sort of a situation that caused the euopeans who settled and developed those areas to impose military rule - an out of control and constantly warlike native population.  I suppose that if an invader had just gone into these areas and wiped out the waring populations you wouldn't have any or much of this 'they took our land from us' business, they would all just be fertilizer.

I guess the old rub of 'they never developed the land, just took from it' doesn't wash any more for those who had historically 'invaded' (maybe just migrated and defended their effort) and developed.  I guess it is the opinion of some that whether the natives to the area had improved the land and their lot or not, it didn't give anyone the right 2-300 years ago to invade and take it from them.  I guess they can say that now because nobody dared say it then or they would have been shot, so after 2-300 years of taming and improving warring underdeveloped lands they must be returned to the native decendants.

I guess that's what the demicraps and obama want to do here, give it all back (but not to the native Americans for Gawd's sake) but to those who are impoverished.  I think the first thing they will do is re-write the 2nd Amendment and try to disarm us, then take what we have and force us out.

Lock and load boys, this one is gonna be in close.............................. Mikey.

I agree that the Dumbycrats try to make the bottom feeders think they are going to get a free ride if they vote for Osama and his like, but it doesn't take much deep thinking to wonder how Sorros, Pilosi, Reid, Kennedy, Feinstein, the Clintons and all the other lefty millionairs plan to exempt themselves from sharing their wampum.  Call me a skeptic, but I just don't believe anyone who has money that says they are going to tax the rich.

If the wealthy Dumbycrats really feel that they aren't paying their fair share, then why don't they just send more in.  The IRS will be more than happy to accept it.  Then the rest of us might be able to save a few bucks to pay for a tank of gas.

If I understand the Obama tax plan correctly as it stands now, people earning under $252,000 year would have their taxes cut. Earning more than that and your taxes will progressively go up. Capital gains taxes would likely go up for those that can get their income called capital gains, which is mostly pretty well to do people, speculators, etc.  Basically Uncle Sam has himself in a pickle and needs money, Washington seems to want to bail out the mortgage boondoggle industry and other Wall Streeters and continue to support the war industry complex.  I would say the middle class is pretty tapped out at this point....so where is this tax money to come from...obviously it must come from those who have MONEY..!!

And everyone else that works. To not believe that is retarded.

The economic logic defies belief.  Obama not only wants to increase taxes for those earning over $250,000 a year while increasing government services to those less productive.  Now wait a minute.  By a redistribution of government services to those less productive, an increase in minimum wage, and increasing the price of wholesale goods will increase the costs of to those making less than $250,000 a year at a time when it is least able to afford the increase costs.  If one would do an independent analysis of percentage of taxable income on wealthy, they would find out that the wealthy now are paying 4% more in taxes than they were a decade ago, while a decade ago the middle class was paying 8% less than now.  That is a 12% difference in taxable income between wealthy and middle class, all the while supposedly the middle class was receiving tax breaks with earned income credits and such.  If it hasnt' worked yet, what makes Obama think it will work now?  All it will do is send more businesses overseas, more fossil fuel developement overseas, and less money availble here in the US for those wanting to work for it.  Also, the incentive to gain wealth is reduced beyond a point as government benefits will no longer be applied to those making over a certain amound and thus increase taxable income.  The net results is more poverty level, higher costs to middle class, higher taxes to middle class, and less income for non necessary spending.  This results in reduced goods and services bought in the US and higher trade deficits.  Someone obviously doesn't understand economics and resultant deficits, when competitive capitalistism keeps goods and services within means while government intervention has increased those costs.  Also, as the median income increases, so does the taxable percentage rate.  The taxable percentage rate increases will pay for inflated costs of goods, services, and national debt.  This is a typical method Democrats use to say they did not increase taxes.  They increase the costs, increase minimum wages with the result of higher taxes whille less purchasing power.  Don't increase the taxes, just appraise the property higher and the taxes will increase.

It's none of the governments business how much money anyone makes.  And if the govmt is in a pickle they need to slow spending.
It's obvious what kind of change these socialists want.
If BHo is elected, I think we might see a civil uprising.
I've always looked down my nose at populations that tolerate corrupt totalitarian regimes, thinking if the general populace is too cowardly to remove such a govt, they deserve what they get.
Well, guess what !!!

I think we need about 15 million able bodied American men, signing up for martial arts, combat arts, whatever.  I have.
I also think we should each currently own, or go purchase, a semiautomatic rifle, in a popular caliber.  And you ought to have at least 1000 rounds of ammo.

And don't be shy !!!    >:(  >:(  >:(

I am no economist, but I believe that total income and "capital gains" are not synonymous.  BHO must know that simply taxing the wealthy a few more shekels
won't solve a thing..except to possibly force more to move out of the country. The money MUST come from the working class.
Capital gains as I understand it, is $$ earned by $$ we have invested, rather than our weekly paycheck,..of which the lower limit he would set..
Your IRA, stocks, 401K and any stocks/bonds you own are continually gaining capital..and he mentions no lower limit on those... just a thought !

Do you remember when Bill Clinton & Jesse Jackson got together and dreamed up a scheme where our retirement IRAs and 401Ks, should be partially "invested"
by force, in the poorer neighborhoods and in their businesses..

there are numbered offshore accounts available for those that got the $$ to salt away in places where the laws of that country forbid the banks to release that information to outside sources.
