Bronze breechloaders at Naval Academy
« on: August 07, 2008, 02:04:29 PM »
I didn't have a tape with me but I think these guns are about 40 in. long and have maybe 1.5 in. bore.  They were captured at some Korean forts the US Navy took in retaliation for something, back in 1871 or thereabouts.  I think they were called the "river forts."  Anyway it was not much of a contest.
