Leather instead of rubber?
« on: August 10, 2008, 09:37:11 AM »
Hey all, shot my .243 last week with about ten different loads and had no success. So then i remembered the bushing that i had in it before i stopped shooting it. It was a plastic washer and the rifle liked it. So i got home and cut out a piece of leather a kind of leather washer so to speak. Haven't shot it yet but plan to soon. Will let you guys now how it is. Was also wondering if anybody out there has ever tried this before. Later fellas.

Yes, see the FAQs, there are several methods listed that have been tried with varying degrees of success.
