The moly is not going to do anything as far as the barrel heating up , some guys like them , I don't care for them much when you figure in the price difference between them and normal jacketed .
They say that the moly coating makes for less drag down the barrel and as such you have diffrent pressures as in the same round used with standard jacketed bullets so diffrent load data must be used .
Another thing is that if you do shoot moly bullets you will need to clean the barrel REAL GOOD before you go back to normal jacketed or you will have a mess on your hands ,
I made that mistake once -- will
NEVER do it again , it took several hours of scrubbing to get the moly out of the barrel to the point that it would shoot groups again with any bullet .
