G30 price check
« on: December 03, 2008, 02:03:53 PM »
I am going to look at a slighty used (about 1 box of ammo) Glock 30. It has night sights, a grip extender, and one magazine. They want $600. Is that a good price?

Doesn't sound good. Picked up 30, night sights, grip extension and 2 mags for $450 used like new in MT.
I would pass and shop around.

Around here most new Glocks seem to be running about $499 and night sights tend to add about an extra $100. So new price on it should be just about that $600 they are asking. If it were new at least around here that's pretty close to what you'd be paying. Used they have to knock off something tho.

I just picked up a used G22 with night sights for an even $400 in excellent condition. It did appear to have been carried a bit but fired darn little. No extra mags with it tho.

I just special ordered a G29 from Cabelas for $620 list, but I have the spend $500 get $100 off promotion for the Cabelas Visa card.  So I am down to $520 plus taxes.  I just picked up 2 G20 15 round mags, 3 G29 mags and a laser for the rail for $110 with tax and shipping.

So I am sitting close to $680 all in.

I finally got over being sick to go look at this gun. It looks like brand new. It has a mag release extension, one 10 round mag, (1) box 50 Speer Gold Dots and (1) box 50 ball ammo. He repriced to $500, I told him I had to think about it. I got home and called a couple local shops, new $550 with standard sights.
