How do you make 410 shells from 303 Brass?

I'd like to make some 410 shells from 303 British or 444 Marlin Brass, I have heard that the 303 British will probably fit better. Can one of you outline the entire process and provide some good safe loads? Thanks

I use 444 Marlin brass and loads from Alliants load data for 410
Primer
powder
shotcup
shot
over shot wad (cut with a 45 ACP brass from fast food styrofoam)
Some elmers glue over that
Works good

That's not a hard question to answer, Magtech .410 brass is $21 per 25, 303 brass is $20 per 50.

I'd like to do this because I do not have a shot shell press and little desire to acquire one. But I also have little desire to pay $10.00 a box for 410 shells. And it seems like a fairly easy and maybe fun little project to take on. My nephews always like to experiment and this seems like a good one to keep their little minds functioning.

You might try finding a lee hand die set. Or do what I did. Find someone with a loader and borrow it. I am currently sitting on about 800 2 1/2" shells that I loaded for my TC at a cost of about $2.50 box (before shot went up). Since I rarely use the 410/TC I finally bought a 410 tube for my 20 ga so I can enjoy shooting them.
Actually you could probably hand load plastic hulls with tools found in your shop if you picked up a drill mounted roll crimper from BPI.
