Used Parts
« on: September 30, 2009, 12:14:54 PM »
Is there a good place to go for take off parts (cylinders, barrels, etc.) for S&W? I was thinking about putting an unfluted cylinder on a 629, but then wondered what I'd do with the one I removed. Is there a site for swapping parts?

Try Gun Parts Corp., in upstate NY.  I stoped in there once about 10 years ago, and was amazed at the selection of parts, for just about any gun you could think of.

Personal opinion is a good thing, and everyone is entitled to one.  The hard part is separating informed opinion from someone who is just blowing hot air....

Numrich & Gunbroker would be my first stops.
