hey guys my buddy just called me . he asked me how to clean up a nickel 22 pump. his father just passed away and his mother gave him this gun. he thinks when he was small he remembers this to be a shinny gun but now its tarnished . but hes not sure if it was shinny when his father bought it . it was a long time ago . so dose anybody know how to clean up the nickel and if it was a shinny finish to start with

You might want to try something called Brasso. It comes in a can and is made for cleaning brass, chrome, etc.
You can find it at hardware or grocery stores in with cleaners and polishes.
