Auto Ordnance Competition
« on: August 27, 2008, 12:39:44 PM »
OK all of ye with more knowledge than I.
I have an Auto Ordnance Competition model 1911/.45acp.
I have had it for about 4 or 5 years, and have yet to shoot it. :-[
I got it as a trade. Can anyone tell me anything about it? I had an Auto Ordnance ( non-competition model ) and liked it. I don't really have a use for this one, and was wondering what it is worth, and it "THAT" much better than the other model?
Any help will help.

Thanks,

Mitch
I carry a single shot.
'cause it only takes one shot.

Hey atit:   While we're waiting for someone that knows something about this gun, here's what I dug out of my notebook.

"Kahr Arms has completely re-engineered and redesigned the Auto Ordnance 1911 line ".  I don't know where I found that statement.

I was all set to buy a new one, as KAHR is really pushing them as a quality gun, but had to direct my funds to something else that came up.
