M77 Mark II Frontier line
« on: August 17, 2008, 01:40:21 PM »
I want to ask you about the M77 Mark II Frontier line.

I was offerred such a rifle in .243 the other day and I'm gonna testfire it in a few days.  How does it handle long distances with that short barrel?  Is there something I need to know about them in advance?

This one is fitted with a Bushnell Banner 6-18x50.

Also, have you tried this 58 gr. bullet in a .243?  I'm curious.  Nearly 4000 fps., I am told!
I sport a hefty 11-87 for my benefit as a proud waterfowler......
