When I decided to buy another rimfire belly gun about a dozen years ago I went with the Beretta Model 21 Bobcat. Great little pistol, very reliable, suprizingly accurate and the tip up barrel is very handy. It's competiton was the other tip up, the Taurus PT22, because I already had (and liked) a few of their revolvers. But I liked the Bobcat better and so went with it. No regrets.
Favorite one though, one that I bought about 50 years ago, was the Astra Cub 22 Short. It put a heck of a lot of meat in the cook pot for me.
Only 25 ACP's I've owned was a Walther Model 8 and a Colt Junior Pocket - both also a very long time ago. Never felt the 25's were an advantage over the 22's then.
