H.R. 6257 was introduced by Mark Kirk (R IL-10) on June 12, 2008 and seeks to re-instate the Assault Weapons Ban indefinitely as well as to expand the list of banned weapons.

It kinda is and kinda is not. When you join the military, you count on the medical as part of the deal. So its really kinda not.

Name one republican that sent a job over seas? Name one democrate that brought a job back to the US? You won't be able to because politicians have nothing to do with it. Only corporations and companies can make these decisions. The decisions to send jobs over seas is done so companies can remain competitive and stay in business. Your competing with labor that will work for $2.00 a day in China. Obama says he will keep jobs here. Are you ready to work for $2.00 a day?

Only Unions can kill them selves from getting too greedy.

  but to answer your questions/allegations;

  A) Assault weapons..anyone here with half a brain functioning KNOWS who the the gun-grabbers are, without eclectically selecting
  some minor issue. B. Hussein Obama has already endorsed limiting 2nd amendment rights !

  B) Corporations have moved overseas because of two primary reasons 1) Unions in contract negotiations, have been so trtuculent
  and uncooperative that corps were forced out. 2) Corporations and their officers have been taxed so heavily, both have decided
  to move offshore in order to keep a fair percentage of what they have earned.
      BHO promises to tax them even more...what is likely to be the result of that ?

  C) You claim the VA is "socialized medicine"..better open your eyes to the obvious difference !
  The veterans who participate in the VA health system..have EARNED that right !

The republican party is happy for you to believe it's all the democrats so they can get all the single issue voters.

Compare the Democrate official Party platform on the 2nd amendment to the Republicans. Its clear who fully supports the 2nd amendment and who wants to present the illusion of supporting it. You can drive a semi truck through the loose and weak support for the 2nd amendment position at the DNC.

Look them up for yourself, go to RNC.com and DNC.com and compare. One can only conclude that the RNC is significantly better. The records prove it as well and so will it if Obama gets elected. With both houses of congress controlled by the liberals, nothing will stop the flood of anti 2nd amendment legislation to the White House.

Did someone say that Socialist Demoncraps were the ONLY ones to blame. Don't think so, but I said that not one Gun bill proposed or passed could have went anywhere by the Republicans alone, not one. We have a few Rep, esp. from the Communist NorthEast & a couple of others, who act very much like Socialist Demoncraps. But, as I said in my last post, look at the numbers on not some, but ALL gun bills & the majority will be Demoncrap, Democrap, Democrap. That's why this topic is getting a little silly. Libs want to show you a blue sky & try to tell you it is yellow or red & to them maybe it is. But as the top folks in a sales/marketing company have to look at the numbers, I have looked at those numbers since the 70's. So if a person can't look & count the number of names with either an R or a D beside it, then he is either a moron or just deceiving himself. Sorry guys, doesn't work for me.

  I can see all this happening. As soon as firearms are banned for home defense, you've effectively banned handguns for self defense of any kind. This could all happen, Carolyn McCarthy has been trying to slide the legislation through for years.
      Obama isn't a "secret Muslim", he has a Muslim name and his father was a Muslim, he's one generation from being Muslim. If your last name is English, then I would guess that you are only one generation away from someone in your family that is English. It isn't quite so far fetched as all that. These liberals will have the mothership land!
