Benelli Super Eagle II

Hello,  I have a chance to pick up a used but in new condition, Benelli Super Eagle II with all the gewgaws. The owner has only fired a few test rounds through it and took it turkey hunting one time. He has passed on and his widow is asking $625 for the shotgun among other pieces she is disposing of. I am considering it for turkey and down here in the South, we use buckshot on deer and hogs run with dogs. Anyone used one? Issues? Pros? Cons? The price sounds right. What say Ya'll? TIA.

I've got one and I like it very much. It's my primary field gun. It doesn't like light target loads (cycling problems) but anything at three grams or more performs very well. It's a light shotgun and I have a sling on it for field use.

I've got one that the wife uses.  It's great, for an auto.  The cr@p people tell you about how it will never hang up is not true... in fact we had a malfunction this year during turkey season.  It's not a reliable as a good pump... that's just a fact, but it's a great auto...
