Yes, Llama made a high quality DA 44 mag in the 80's that was held in high regards. I imagne its the same gun in 357 but could be wrong. I know they can be found for a good price.

I owned a Comanche single shot 45LC/410 and it was a terrible shooter.  Very poor alignment of the barrel and I couldn't hit a dang thing with it...I'd steer clear.

I had a Super Comanche 44 mag in the mid 80s. Accurate gun, but I hated the grip and back then I couldn't find a set of aftermarket grips to save me. A friend had the 357 and really liked it, but I never shot it to compare them. Sorry I wasn't more help.

my brother has a six inch barrel 357 and loves it. He has had it for years. Very accurate. Not fancy but accurate. That is what counts shoots well and holds up. Zacharoo

There has been some misinformation here, the Comanche of which you ask is NOT the Llama Comanche of some years back. These revolvers are made in Argentina, they are all steel, not real finely finished, but probably a good deal for the money, certainly a better built gun than Charter Arms and for less money.
The Super Comanche singleshot 45/410 is another mater, it does have a pot metal frame but seems adequate for the rounds for which it is chambered. NONE of the 45/410 guns are at all accurate with .45 Colt ammo, that includes Thompson-Center and H&R as well as the Super Comanche, it is foolish to expect accuracy form such a gun. Use it for what it is made for, a .410 pistol, and you'll find the Super Comanche does very well indeed.
The story of David & Goliath only demonstrates the superiority of ballistic projectiles over hand weapons, poor old Goliath never had a chance.

Actually Coyotejoe, the Super Comanche IV 44 mag that I had was a six shot revolver. I bought it new in 1986. I don't know why I bought the 8 3/8" barrel. If I had gotten it with a 4" or a 6", I would probably still have it. The roll stamp on mine said "Made in Spain". It wasn't quite as heavy as a Smith 29, but it shot well.

I had a Llama Comanche 4" .357 back in the 80s. It was a nice revolver. I did not care for the wide serrated trigger or the grips. I could not find any replacements so I sold it. If I recall correctly it cost $180 and a Python was $360. Should have bought the Python.
