Good Morning Montanan, Good morning  Bill. Gotta be more more of you folks from Montana than just use. Okay, so Bill isn't a from Montana, but I know in his heart he wants to be.  :)

No wind this morning, mid 40's and cloudy.  high to day is suppose to be inthe 60's. Gonna be a nice pleasant day to day.  Absolutely nothing special on the agenda for today.  That's one of the benefit of being retired.

Yup I think I'd like to live in MT well except for during winter time. I'm not sure I could take those winters heck I don't even like winter in Bama. I came really close to being a Wyoming resident really. I applied for and was accepted at the University of Wyoming right after high school. Then I couldn't get my parents to foot the bill and the only way to get resident status to make it within my means was to move out there for a year before beginning. It's kinda tough for a teenager right out of high school with no experience to move out of state like that and begin a new life with no help from back home.

So in the end I had to give up on my dream of moving west and get my degree here. By the time that happened I had a family to care for and a job here and it just never got around to happening. I did still plan to move west at retirement and then dang it they offered me an early retirement five years ahead of my planned retirement date and the money just wasn't there to make the move. I could have waited five more years to retire but my health was on the down hill slide and it was becoming more difficult to make it thru the day on the job. I doubt I'd have lasted those last five years but who knows maybe I could have and if so I'd be living some where out west.

Winter is the best time in Montana.  Keeps the Riff raff out.  Although we may snow bird it next year.
