Which has more recoil 7mm08 or 30-30?

Curious which has more recoil a 7mm-08 encore w/15" barrel or 30-30 contender w/14" barrel?  Would the 30-30 in a contender recoil more than an encore because it's lighter or would it be too close to really tell?  One a side note anyone group some leverevolution out of a 30-30 barrel yet?

I have shot the 7mm-08 Remington in a 10" and 15" Encore barrel with 2.5-7x 28mm T/C scope installed and both were very manageable.

I have also shot a friend's 7-30 Waters in a 14" Contender which was a little less recoil to my 7mm-08 Remington Encore, but not measurable.

I have never shot a 30-30 Winchester in a Contender, but I should be the same as the 7-30 Waters.

I've shot a Contender 30/30 handgun and a 7mm/08 Encore handgun.  I would say the recoil is very similar.

sorry, i can only relate to recoil, for  my 7-08 15" encore. it is very manageable and  is very accurate.

Dan Deluca aka "warrior1" has passed away.  Dan was a frequent poster here and on several other sites.  He passed away on 12/29/08 from a massive heart attack. RIP Dan.

I have shot .30-30 and .308 in a 15" Encore and couldn't tell any difference. Expect the same for the .30-30 and 7MM-08.

Thanks for the replies, I had a 7mm-08 in encore but lost it in a house fire.  I found a contender I was interested in and the price was pretty good.  It was in 30-30 and I was wondering how it would compare to my old encore 7mm.  I picked it up todday and I'll be posting some questions on it shortly!

i shoot the leverevolution out of my 30-30 14''. very accurate at 100 yards.
