Hammer extender removal
« on: September 08, 2008, 05:22:55 PM »
I want to remove and remount on the L.side an NEF hammer -extender without crushing it . That is what started to happen on my "don't bother to ask" attempt. So, when all else fails ,read the directions [or ask the forum] .  Ken

Ken

Down inside the ext you will find a very small socket head screw that needs an allanwrench to loosen , ( don't remember the size ) back that screw off a couple turns and the ext should slide right off .

They are self locking set screws.  The NEF version & the Uncle Mike's version use different sized allen wrenches by the way.
