6mm bull berry
« on: September 10, 2008, 09:03:48 AM »
I was given a 6mm Bull Berry rifle barrel the other day.  Since I do not hand load (yet) I was interested to know if the chamber could be redone to a standard 6mm and if so what that modification might cost.  I am open to other standard factory chambering ideas as well.  Thanks Gary

FYI...To answer my own question I called Bull Berry and they said that the Contender that this barrel was on will not handle a 6mm factory round.  My options then are to buy dies and reload for the 6mmBB.  Thanks for looking, Gary

Unfortunately there are no options for a rechamber to a factory round. The 6mm BB (or 6mm -30x30) is a handloading proposition only. It is an excellent round ina Contender and making cases up from 30-30 brass is a snap.
