Last Year I bought a .223 Ultra varmint with the black stock and the Fluted barrel. I don't know what the rate of twist is? The Serial # is HW2566XX. I also don't remember what weight bullets work best for what twist. I have shot about 100 rounds through it and is seems to shoot fairly well. I have been shooting Federal 55 grain hollow points in the value pack. I bought this rifle mainly for P-dogs and Coyotes. I like just about everything about this gun except the trigger and I have no way to but a bullet holder on the but stock.
I have been interested in these rifles for a long time For the money they are good rifles. I would like to get a muzzy barrel soon, but I am afraid to send it back with all the story's that you hear.
