Completed Rifle (finally)
« on: March 12, 2008, 06:08:42 AM »
Well I finally ordered my rings and bases for both the 50 and the 30-06 barrels. Both of them are stainless steel with hardwoods stock and forearm. I found that Durasight has come out with realtree hardwoods patterns for the rings and bases....I will get some pics of them after they are installed....

Thanks....I have a couple of boxes of factory rounds in the gun cabinet....Now I just need to find some time to go and put them through the barrel.

Looks good. Hope to hear a range report soon.
The sportsman lives his life vicariously. For he secretly yearns to have lived before, in a simpler time. A time when his love for the land, water, fish and wildlife would be more than just part of his life. It would be his state of mind
