I've seen swivel guns mentioned several times in the ORN's and ORA's being careful not to mis-interpret pivot guns i've confined my search to armed launches etc. Doe anybody have pictures of the swivels likely to be used during the naval excursions during the Mexican-American war that might have still be in the US arsenals at the start of the CW.
