fiber optic sights

Well, I purchased a .45/70 Handi a few days ago. My 4th one in the past year. A local shop had them on sale for $199. I saw the .500 S&W at Bass Pro Shops & it had fiber optic sights. I want these sights for my .45/70.
Any idea where I can get them? Can you get them straight from H&R? The H&R website is blocked from my computer here at work. I've been looking around on the net but can't find any that specifically say they fit H&R.

If you want a nice metal fiber optic sight, check out "Peep and Firesights" in the FAQs and Help sticky. As far as I know, the 500S&W sight is plastic, it's part #M03083 for $3.30.

Yeah, I saw the topic in the FAQ's, but the one I saw was fiber optic front & rear sights. 2 green dots on the rear sight, 1 red dot on the front sight. Is the fiber optic sight available from H&R?

The rear sight comes in three pieces, base M03084 $1.85, slide assembly M03085 $1.80, and the aperture M03086 $3.50, all are listed as obsolete as of 10/27/2008. Those are the only sight parts listed for the 500S&W Handi, you'll have to call and ask em for more info, they've apparently changed the rear sight, maybe they're using the Williams WGOS w/firesight aperture now, it's the standard sight base on the other big bores.

Thanks Tim. I guess my options are: 1. buy the FireSight WGOS Slide/Blade REPLACEMENT & shorty ramp with corresponding sight; or 2. call H&R to see if they offer the parts I'll need.
I was hoping that there was a kit that I could buy that had all the parts needed.
