Right to Left Handed Safety Change Rem. 742

How difficult is it to change the safety on a Rem 742 from right to left handed and how much should it cost?  Thanks.

All the Remington auto shotguns & rifles take the same safety, ergo, the same left safety conversion kit.
I don't know if the issue Remington replacement LH safety for it's LH shotguns are a drop-in, or not - as I never tried them.

Aftermarket kits are about $15, and take all of 15-20 mins to install.
Midway carries one, but appears to be out of stock right now:
