So I went to work today, expecting a boring day at the restaurant, which was pretty much what happened, but late in the afternoon, four guys showed up, one of which was Tom Knapp himself.
Now in the restaurant I work at, we have quite a few stars come through, but this is the first time I was truly excited about seeing somebody.
It was fun, hearing him talking about different species in different areas of the world, and a thorough talk through bird dogs. But the best part was when they asked me to tell them about hunting in the area. I gave Tom Knapp hunting advise today. Pretty neat. They had went and struck out on moose season here (as I had) and were looking for anything legal for the most part (black bears or ptarmigan was the case)
