Do you need a license to hunt?

I have been hunting for over 30 years and I still don’t know if you are required to have a hunting license to hunt you own land in Alabama.  Well, do ya?

That's a good question and my first thought would be no that you didn't on your own land but I could be wrong. I quit buying hunting and fishing license when I turned 65 as the state lets people hunt and fish for free once you reach that plateau.  ;D

Well, I admit that hunting and fishing for free would be nice.  While I am close, I am in no hurry to be qualified.  ;D
