leaves getting a little washed out up north

Yes, the days of fall aproach. I was looking at the colour of the leaves as we drove north. Definate lighter tone, particularily the poplars.
I need to go hunting!
Then I saw three whitetail does, calmly feeding at roadside. Now the blood is boiling.
Time to go over my gear.

You are a little ahead of us.  The leaves here will not give hint of fall for at least a month.  The turkeys are all over the place and the bucks are still in velvet.  And it is still TO DANG HOT. Whew!

our bucks are still growing here in PA also.  Leaves aren't even thinking about changing yet :)

Still hot up here too, hit close to 100 F. Doesn't stop the leaves from changing. Would be REAL nice if they came down before moose season! Last year there were some still on in November.
