Muzzle Loader Reboring?

I have seen several Muzzle loaders that were rusted in the barrel. They were scrubbed as clean as possible. But still had pitting. Question can the .50 caliber be bored to a .54? The last one I seen was a Knight disc. Nice gun except for the pitting.

Yes, but the cost would come close to the cost of a new gun.
