Good morning Montanan,

Yep looks like the cool weather may be coming.  high 30's this morning.

Don't think much productive gun or hunting  work will get done this morning.  The carpet people are coming this morning.  Gotta think positive,  this will put the office in shape and I will be able to work in there.

I will be starting work on the book I am going to write this winter.  Part of the office will be set up as a table top photo studio.

I will start some of the shooting tests this spring and will bring the data back to this office to write up.

I gotta tell you this retired life is starting to turn into a job.

Double D

Office?  Photo Table?

What kind of business you do?

Just curious because my whole line of work, carreer etc will be changing with shoulder surgery around the corner.  No more heavy over head type of work, climbing ladders etc.  So I am in the process of open options  ;D as I look ahead.

I was a Law Enforcement Officer, the Last 19 years in Customs. I retired with over 32 years of work in the field.

I also have a degree in Precison Machine Technolgy with a emphasis in Gumsmithing.

I have done a little bit of free lance writing over the years and have decided that I need to write a book. I am really into a Martini's and have gathered a great deal of information on the subject.  I intend to use that information and write a book on how to shoot the Martini.

When I retired I took out a business license as a Consultant.  My consultancy is Customs and Martini's. The Customs part is the money making part of the operation right now and that gives me the money to buy what I need to conduct reasearch for the book. I am also providing advice to gunsmiths on Martini's and have to maintain a FFL to transfer the guns.  As you see it takes a bit of imagination.

Office, Den, boars nest, my room call it what you like. It was an unfinished room in the basement that I have taken over as mine.  If we still had kids at home it would be a bedroom.  I have a computer desk , file cabinets and book cases for my books.   Of course the photo table will be used to take photo's for the book.
