Gun case

I'm looking for a good case to transport a pair of scoped contender when flying. Preferable something that might fit inside a duffle bag after it's been checked. That extra baggae charge can be expensive. Who has something they would recomend? Anyone familiar with Kalispel cases?

I have not used one, but ran across this item on Gun Broker.  I would say that if this is not exactly what you want this guy can make exactly what you want - price looks fairly reasonable.  Hope this helps.

Hello FL_Native,

Doskocil makes an excellent case called the Deluxe Accessory Case.  It will hold two complete 16" scoped Contenders or Encores.  They're foam lined (excellent quality foam) and I use them exclusively for transporting my T/C pistols either to the range or afield.  You can find them on the net for about $47.00 plus shipping - I just checked today.  I believe they are a good investment, I need to get a couple more myself - THANKS FOR REMINDING ME!

I second the Doskocil case recomendation.  I just got one from Natchez where they are on sale for $39 - this is a gooo deal.

wish some one made them in a shorter than usual rifle case for the Encore and Contender rifles......hahaha.....
