A couple of my Black Rifles.

NEF rifles
Top barrel is .223 with a 3x9 older Tasco
Top rifle with survivor stock is .243 with an older armored 3x9 Tasco
Bottom rifle with open sights is a .45/70

Those are some good looking rifles you have there.

BTW, how does that .243 shoot?

My .223 shoots great, ( recently dropped an 80 pound hog in its tracks at 110 yards, behind the ear) with the Winchester white box, and it complements my 7mm-08, and .270 long range deer guns.
My culled down Handi's are the 45-70, and then I have a few others to keep it company...357 Mag/Max. .45 LC/.454 Casull Carbine, .243 Ultra, and 20 gauge Tracker II.

The .243 is not bad. I need to work up a load so I can tighten up the groups some. I may carry it for deer this year, but I have fallen in love with my Grandfather's ols Browning again so we shall see.
